The Talent Development Section's mission is to promote the proactive growth of each employee by providing platforms for the development of employee competencies and skills based on Rakuten Shugi (Rakuten's principles), enabling Rakuten Group to continue contributing to the empowerment of people and society as a global innovation company.
This position plays a crucial role in promoting and supporting the growth of "people" who underpin the overall growth of the Rakuten Group, designing employees' learning experiences, and maximizing their effectiveness.

Working with HR not only in Japan but also in overseas group companies, you will lead global Lead the global HR strategy in cooperation with the HR departments of group companies not only in Japan but also overseas. You will manage a wide range of stakeholders and promote large scale projects.

Position Details
Overview
(You will not be solely responsible for all of the following tasks; instead, you will collaborate with team members to advance them.)
- Proactively collaborate with initiative planners to plan and operate training programs. Act as a partner to maximize employees' learning experiences through continuous improvement and systematization of these programs.
- Communicate and build consensus with stakeholders, including initiative planners, related departments, and participants (employees).
- Plan and operate the entire process for delivering talent development programs (e.g., training plan formulation, policy development, venue preparation, participant announcements, attendance management, material preparation, on-the-day training operation).
- Plan and operate post-talent development program activities (e.g., survey implementation, collection, aggregation, participant registration).

Talent Development Section is an organization of a dozen or so people.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Project management skills and experience (Experience managing multiple tasks and schedules simultaneously while delivering deliverables on time. Examples: Event planning and operations, campaign management, system implementation projects, etc.).
- Communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in establishing smooth communication with diverse stakeholders both within and outside the department (e.g., planning personnel, vendors, in-house instructors, trainees, etc.) and facilitating consensus building.
- Experience in reconciling differing opinions and demands to arrive at optimal solutions (Ability to effectively manage meetings and discussions, from setting the agenda and taking minutes to facilitating the proceedings).
- Business Standardization (Systematization) Skills (The ability to plan optimal operational procedures, document them in manuals, and implement them throughout the organization).
- MS Office skills (e.g., Excel skills at a level enabling analysis using Pivot Tables and functions; PowerPoint skills at a level enabling creation of materials for important internal meetings).
- Fluent Japanese language skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent experience in a human resources department of a business company, an HR consulting firm, or a talent development service company.
or
- Experience in planning, operating, and deploying large-scale initiatives, programs, meetings, or events in areas other than HR.
