Department Overview
We are a department dedicated to HR for organizations within Rakuten Group's mobile-related businesses, which is a key focus area for the group. Our team of approximately 60 HR professionals provides comprehensive HR support, covering all aspects including talent management, recruitment, training and development, performance evaluation, labor relations, and HRBP functions.
Working in close collaboration with Rakuten Group headquarters, we address HR challenges unique to the mobile business environment. This includes factors such as the dynamic mobile market, retail store operations, and a global development environment with a diverse workforce. We offer an end-to-end approach, from identifying issues and planning solutions and initiatives, to operational execution and fostering workplace communication.

Position Details
The Talent Management section encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including performance evaluation, job rotation, organizational structure design and implementation, succession planning, leadership development, and engagement enhancement.
This allows you to acquire a broad set of skills and knowledge, expanding your career possibilities.
Job Responsibilities‐
Planning and executing HR and organizational strategies driven by business challenges.
Designing and operating HR systems (evaluation, compensation, career).
Building a resilient organizational structure and talent foundation, and driving reforms through the utilization of technologies such as generative AI.
As an HR Planning Leader, promoting transformation from a management perspective and strengthening the organizational structure in the medium to long term.
Work Environment
Mobile & RTS HR Department (Total): Approximately 60 members
Talent Management Section: Approximately 15 members
Mandatory Qualifications
[Required Skills & Experience]
‐At least 3 years of practical experience in HR or organizational development.
‐Experience in planning and executing HR-related projects.
‐Experience Communicating With Management And Other Senior Stakeholders.
[Desired Candidate Profile]
‐Experience collaborating in a team setting and the ability to coordinate with other departments.
‐Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and new challenges.
‐Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills.
‐Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
Desired Qualifications
‐Knowledge and experience in organizational design, organizational development, and talent management.
‐Ability to analyze problems and propose/implement effective solutions.
‐Experience working collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds, including different nationalities, religions, and genders.
