Service Engineer, PAJ Marine (f/m/d)

The Service Engineer supports inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting based on vessel schedules and works closely with customers to ensure safe, efficient service while strengthening technical collaboration across Japan and APAC
.

Your Tasks

  • Participate in LSA projects and collaborate closely with the local service partner to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate with agents, superintendents, and service coordinators to attend service assignments promptly upon mobilization.
  • Prepare all necessary materials, tools, and spare parts, and align with the superintendent on a preliminary work plan before commencing any job.
  • Perform service and commissioning tasks in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines, ensuring efficiency and quality in every assignment.
  • Communicate effectively with the service coordinator, sales manager, and superintendent to report and resolve any defects identified during service execution.
  • Provide accurate on-site measurements to support the spare parts team in identifying correct specifications when needed, and prepare all required service reports, checklists, and certificates accurately.
  • Support Wind Crane and other marine product-line service activities in Japan, contributing to improved technical response time, customer satisfaction, and APAC-wide communication.
  • Lead the development of a local marine technical team in Japan, enhance PM brand awareness, and maintain effective management and control of service operations to grow the local market share

Your Qualification

  • Must Have a good knowledge of marine , offshore , maritime industry and LSA service/commissioning
  • Must Have a good understanding of SOLAS requirements and industrial regulation
  • Skills in troubleshooting of electric and hydrolic system is necessary
  • Must Good at technical explanation to customer in English and Japanese for complicated technical problem
  • Willing to travel frequently
  • Willing to work in overtime and weekend, public holiday
  • Good knowledge in office software(word, excel and powerpoint
