We are looking for an aspiring individual to create new value by leading the development of robots that make up automated warehouses as an advanced, high customer value solution.
- Lead advanced mechatronic systems including mechanics, electronics, and embedded programming in cooperation with a highly multidisciplinary engineering team
- Work together with external designers, suppliers, and manufacturers
- Review calculation or simulation to ensure mechanical design performance for both static and dynamic parts, with DFA/DFM consideration
- Review and improve 3D models, assembly drawings, component drawings of product designs, and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Perform verification and validation on prototype with QA team
- Leading the development of mass-produced products considering reliability, maintainability and life-cycle cost

- 高度に学際的なエンジニアリングチームと協力して、メカニクス、エレクトロニクス、組み込みプログラミングを含む高度なメカトロニクスシステムのリーディング
- 外部の設計者、サプライヤー、メーカーとの協力
- DFA/DFMを考慮した静的および動的部品の機械設計性能を保証するための計算またはシミュレーションのレビュー
- 製品設計の3Dモデル、組立図、部品図、公差スタックアップ解析のレビューと改善
- QAチームと共にプロトタイプの検証と妥当性確認
- 信頼性、保守性、ライフサイクルコストを考慮した量産製品の開発のリーディング
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- A bachelor and/or master's degree in Mechanical, Robotics engineering, and related engineering field; work experience beyond the minimum requirement may be an acceptable substitute for an engineering degree
- 8+ years of product development experience with emphasis on electromechanical automation equipment, preferably in the automotive, aerospace, and/or service robotics industry
- Experience of leading the team for engineering aim to the mass production
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers
- Exceptionally well organized, result oriented, and thorough
- High-degree of initiative and proven analytical problem solving skills
- Business-level Japanese
- Intermediate-level English
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Solidworks or equivalent CAD software with Strength analysis and/or other analyses
- Experience in electrical circuit design and review
- Experience in software development and review of embedded software
- Experience in designing for mass production of consumer products and started production
- Machining experience
- Experience in designing and developing robotic/mechanical systems using plastics
