Director Strategy Mergers & Acquisitions (SMA) (勤務地:東京)

Job Description
In your new role you will:

  • Develop organic strategies, including business strategies with a regional focus, product application strategies, and organizational strategies.
  • Handle inorganic strategies, including M&A, target searches, and partnership or alliance-related activities.
  • Lead cross-divisional topics, especially in identifying emerging applications that cover multiple business/product lines and work closely with cross-segment and cross-division teams.
  • Influence and coordinate key stakeholders, particularly in the four business divisions, to ensure synergized actions and consistent project advancement.
  • Collect and share market intelligence, and regularly interface with market analysts, semiconductor industry Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and government bodies.
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with the Division and SMA global team to understand requirements and present deliverables.

This role functionally reports to the Head of Strategy and M&A (SMA) Japan and is part of Infineon Technologies' global Strategy and M&A (SMA) team

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Over 10 years of experience with a deep understanding of semiconductor and related industries, including value chain, market dynamics, and landscape.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leading strategy consulting firm or in-house strategy consulting group of a corporation, with a proven record of applying strategy frameworks and tools.
  • Existing relationships with ecosystem players in Japan, such as government bodies, academia, startups, and incubators.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese.
