【 Job Description】

The company is actively using AI technology in its product development. In addition, its own products, such as an SFA/CRM platform and a chat service , provide AI-related functions such as automatic summarization of minutes and automatic creation of e-mails using ChatGPT, which help customers improve their operational efficiency and productivity.

Under these circumstances, the Group established a new subsidiary, on April 11, 2023, to further promote consulting on the introduction of AI technology, product provision, and research and development.

It develops and provides a variety of AI products to improve the productivity of Japanese companies and revitalize industries, based on its Purpose of "passing on Japan and leapfrogging the potential of workers with AI." In order to develop advanced products, it is also conducting research in fields such as ChatGPT, various large-scale language models, and Generative AI.

【Recruitment Background】

With rapid business expansion expected, the company is looking for a senior backend engineer who can lead research and development and product implementation in highly technical areas. In particular, in order to promote research and large-scale development in the AI agent area, there is an urgent need to increase the number of engineers involved in core backend framework development.

【Your Role】

You will be involved in enhancing and optimizing the performance of the AI Agent framework, which is used across the company. Working with internal and external development teams, you will implement and lead complex functions such as a fast and scalable multi-tenant runtime environment and interactions among many agents.

【Responsibilities】

Design and development of AI agent framework (core development centered on Python)

Interoperation among AI agents, construction of highly scalable architecture

Implementation and operation of a scalable runtime environment for multi-tenancy, real-time inference, and performance optimization in a cloud-native environment

Collaboration with research team: Define and implement requirements to incorporate advanced research on LLM and AI Agents into products

Team lead technology selection, lead development process improvement, and support growth of other engineers

Language: Python (Framework), TypeScript / React / (Front-end)

Infrastructure: GCP (containers / K8s), Docker

Tools: Slack, Confluence, Jira, Google Workspace, GitHub, etc.

Working environment: Mac (Apple silicon), dual monitor support, in-house GPT tools and AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot available

【Team Structure】

About 30 engineers are working in the team. (Collaboration divided into multiple core development teams)

【 Requirements】

【MUST】

Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical skills

Experience in back-end development (5+ years approx.) : Python, Java, or other languages

Deep understanding of CS fundamentals such as algorithms and data structures, and hands-on implementation skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure or similar) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Strong interest in the LLM / AI agent space and an inquisitive mind to keep up with the latest technologies

Business level communication skills in English or Japanese (either required)

Experience developing and researching AI/ML, chatbots, generative AI, NLP, agent frameworks, etc.

Experience with distributed systems and performance optimization in large data environments

Knowledge of designing and implementing multi-agent systems

Experience leading or managing teams or orientation to technical leadership

Experience working in a multinational environment
