Responsibilities
- Lead day to day supply planning operations to ensure timely product availability and fulfillment.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, balancing service levels, cost, and cash flow.
- Proactively identify supply risks and opportunities through scenario planning and cross functional collaboration.
- Drive the supply component of the S&OP process, aligning supply with sales forecasts and financial goals.
- Manage supply planning for new product launches, ensuring timelines, inventory readiness, and risk mitigation.
- Improve planning efficiency through continuous process improvements and the use of planning tools.
- Ensure accurate supply data management within ERP and planning systems
-5+ years of experience in supply planning or end-to-end supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision making.
- Solid understanding of S&OP processes and inventory optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with global and local stakeholders (Japanese and English).
- Experience in project management, especially related to new product launches or system implementations.
- Proactive, solution oriented mindset with strong attention to both strategic and operational detail.
- Company will consider candidates up to 11M JPY annual (client may consider higher salary based on candidate skills and experience).
