1952年に、機械工具の販売を目的に創業した老舗企業です。現在では、機械工具の販売から省力機器の製作、エンジニアリング商品の提案、工場付帯設備の据付施工までを行う"技術専門商社"として、また、高速精密切断機、精密切断砥石、硬脆性材料用ダイヤモンド切断砥石、結合剤部分傾斜型レジノイド切断砥石の"切断機器専業メーカー"として、商社・メーカーの両軸で事業を展開。業界では特異な企業ポジションを維持しながら、お客様のニーズにお応えすることで社会に貢献しています。
■キレイにスパッと切る技術を提供しています
のこぎりで木の板を切断すると、切断面がガタガタになって最後にヤスリで整えますよね。物質をキレイに切断することは意外と難しいもの。I社は、機械と砥石(トイシ)を製造してその悩みをスパッと解決砥石と聞くと、包丁を研ぐ砥石を思いだされる方が多いはず。I社の「砥石」も、切断面を砥ぎながら切るので、同じ役割。切断面は滑らかに、くずや部品も散らばりません。そのため、レアメタルなど硬いものから、細かい部品の詰まった豆電球やスマートフォンなども、傷つけることなく切断できるのです。
