Your Impact
In this role, you will work on challenging projects and identify value-creation opportunities for our clients. With your delivery focus and expertise, you will support our clients by ensuring their organizations achieve and sustain strategic objectives.

You will help deliver innovative solutions in the fields of new services, overall service redesign, organizational structure, governance, process management and workforce, and capability building, resulting in meaningful and enduring change.

With your implementation expertise, you will support our clients in translating strategic objectives into practical implementation initiatives and goals. You will also be responsible for project planning, delivery and implementation of organizational changes, which you will tackle with the appropriate management tools and solutions.

You will be based in our Japan office as part of our Social, Healthcare and Public Entities (SHaPE) practice. You'll join a team passionate about impact, who focuses on operational project management with strong execution skills and an understanding of the specific demands of each organization.

You will also be part of our new Delivery Assurance team. This is a rapidly growing part of McKinsey & Company, focused on building the capabilities, systems, and processes to deliver better service outcomes, and ensure results can be maintained longer term. You will be fully dedicated to public sector clients and work on designing major changes in the public sector.

You will work closely with senior management and specialist departments of our SHaPE sector clients to provide impactful solutions. We measure our success by the impact we deliver for our clients and their ability to sustain the new benefits and changes once we have left.

You will be joining a highly entrepreneurial team of consultants dedicated to growing and developing the impact of the SHaPE. You will receive exceptional training and ongoing coaching and mentoring.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• University degree with a strong record of academic achievement
• 4+ years of experience in project delivery in consulting, in the context of implementation, transformation and/or change management projects
• Strong analytical, conceptual problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, dedication, creativity and a passion for overcoming any challenge to get things done
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
