You will be part of our Management Team, adding your leadership expertise + entrepreneurial skills to the delivery of customer + operational excellence, ensuring business profitability within the Sea Freight division.
How you create impact
You will be responsible for providing leadership to your team by overseeing + driving the overall business development objectives in relation to sales, revenue + growth targets.
What we would like you to bring
- To drive business development by reviewing the sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities + improving underperforming business, while overseeing the implementation of customer standard operating procedures (SOP) to drive customer excellence.
- To track our training curriculum, ensuring a stable + capable organisation with pipelines in place for all key positions.
- To ensure operations are managed within the regulatory requirements, company guidelines, industry standards + management guidance, liaising with QSHE to ensure audit readiness at all times.
- To ensure that regional + corporate initiatives are being understood, championed + implemented.
- To be the local face of sea logistics to all key vendors + customers, actively nurturing those relationships.
- To actively collaborate with + across the region to improve the business operating environment through best practice sharing, talent development + sustainable solutions.
- To drive a healthy forwarding sub-ledger, regularly analyzing profit + loss reports while ensuring target achievement, focusing on the cost of production + financial targets.
