Responsibilities
Ensure cost-effective, timely procurement and imports.
Plan and manage procurement to optimize profits, inventory, and costs.
Oversee ordering, importing, and supply chain/quality issues.
Manage transport, supplier selection, and negotiations.
Develop import plans from forecasts and inventory analysis.
Monitor costs, pricing, and import status; meet KPIs.
Conduct inventory checks and improve system operations.
Lead and develop the team for optimal performance.
Requirements
5+ years in logistics or supply chain.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational improvement skills.
Business-level Japanese
Business-level English
Skilled in business strategy, planning, and execution is a plus
Adaptable and efficient in task execution.
Collaborative with internal/external teams.
Experience in talent development and team management.
Salary
Company will consider candidates up to 8.5M JPY annual ( client may consider higher salary based on candidate skills and experience).
