Responsibilities
- Ensure cost-effective, timely procurement and imports.
- Plan and manage procurement to optimize profits, inventory, and costs.
- Oversee ordering, importing, and supply chain/quality issues.
- Manage transport, supplier selection, and negotiations.
- Develop import plans from forecasts and inventory analysis.
- Monitor costs, pricing, and import status; meet KPIs.
- Conduct inventory checks and improve system operations.
- Lead and develop the team for optimal performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years in logistics or supply chain.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational improvement skills.
- Business-level Japanese
- Business-level English
- Skilled in business strategy, planning, and execution is a plus
- Adaptable and efficient in task execution.
- Collaborative with internal/external teams.
- Experience in talent development and team management.
Salary
- Company will consider candidates up to 7.5M JPY annual ( client may consider higher salary based on candidate skills and experience).
