In this challenging role, you will be responsible for Japan's Laboratory Solutions Sales organization to inspire and build capability that delivers profitable growth, market share gain, and a superior customer experience. The position is also responsible for helping to shape the Laboratory Solutions business in Asia as part of a dynamic and talented leadership team.

This significant leadership position requires meeting both short-term and long-term objectives regarding organizational development, sales growth, and managing sales and specialized resources. Collaborating with the customer support organization, marketing, and other business functions is essential to success.

Specifically.

  • Responsible for delivering the financial order performance for Laboratory Solutions in Japan
  • Key member of Asia Executive team with global visibility
  • Lead the country's operational planning, develop a transformational business plan, and execute it successfully.
  • The position will implement various organizational plans and develop key dealer, partner, and customer relationships, specific programs, and key initiatives focusing on digital sales strategies to drive business objectives.
  • Responsible for leading and role modeling a diverse high-performance coaching and development culture:(1) determine and communicate business objectives(2) provide feedback, evaluate and rate performance(3) identify and support organizational, employee, and self-developmental needs(4) recognize and reward desired performance behaviors(5) effective communication and virtual/remote management skills.(6) developing talent and identifying and developing successors
  • Qualifications

  • degree and Master's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology, or other related Sciences
  • 5+years' experience with multinational and remote people management, proven skills to lead diverse team sizes of > 50 people
  • 5+ years track record in sales, marketing, and support of Life Science tool and product experience
  • Proven track record of working in multinational environment, exposed to complex matrix organization
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Japanese and English
