Responsibilities

  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and identify key accounts that will support Exotec's growth
  • Design and implement strategies to access those key accounts and generate opportunities
  • Monitor the market and competitor products and activities
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics of the business development team and suggest improvements
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Attend conferences and industry events
  • Present Exotec to consultants through meetings and webinars
  • Nurture the relationship with selected consulting firms to ensure Exotec stays top-of-mind

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in the industry, with at least 5 years selling complex material handling projects or acting as a Business Developer for such projects
  • Existing network within the APAC third-party logistics industry
  • Fluency professional/advanced in both Japanese and English is required; any knowledge of Korean would be a plus
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Flexibility with up to 50% travel (domestic & international)
