【Recruitment Background】

The development organization currently consists of approximately 20 members (including engineers and PdMs) and is managed under a single Engineering Manager (EM) structure.

To bolster organizational and team capabilities for future product and business growth, the company is expanding the EM structure to a two-person team.

In this position, you will be responsible for building autonomous teams and supporting their growth through engineer development, performance evaluations, 1on1 sessions, and the establishment of goal management frameworks.

The company welcomes individuals who have a strong interest and commitment to "team building and mentorship" within an environment that involves close collaboration with management, PdMs, and HR strategy.

【Responsibilities】
◆Organizational Management and Team Building
・Talent Development and HR Strategy:
Responsible for the recruitment, training, evaluation, and career development support of engineers.
・Goal Management:
Designing quarterly team objectives and managing progress to ensure alignment with company goals.
・Enhancing Team Capability:
Improving overall team strength and fostering a sense of collective organizational efficacy.
・People Management Framework:
Establishing and maintaining a structured people management system, including regular 1on1 sessions.
・Evangelism and Culture:
Promoting technical branding and actively communicating the engineering culture to the wider community.

◆Product Development Leadership
・Cross-functional Collaboration: Driving the development process forward by coordinating closely with Product Managers (PdMs) and the business side.
・Operational Rhythm and Technical Support:
Establishing a sustainable rhythm for team design, operations, and improvements, while providing support for technical decision-making.
・Agile Promotion:
Facilitating and supporting the implementation of agile development methodologies.
・Supporting Leadership:
Empowering Tech Leads and Team Leaders to advance re-architecting initiatives and resolve technical debt or other engineering challenges.

【 Requirements】

Required
・5+ years of experience developing web services
・Management experience within an in-house service development team
・Experience leading teams in both organizational and technical aspects
・Experience establishing systems for engineer recruitment, evaluation, and onboarding

Preferred
・Experience in developing and operating SaaS products
・Experience in infrastructure operations within AWS environments
・Experience in architecture design and driving rearchitecting initiatives
・Experience in business operations conducted in English
