Solution Engineering
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior leader to act as the key bridge between Japanese enterprise customers and global R&D/Product teams.
You will lead technical validation for complex engagements, translate customer requirements into actionable product feedback, and build a high-performing bilingual team to ensure successful adoption and deployment of our solutions.
Core ResponsibilitiesValidate technical feasibility for large-scale pre-sales engagements (POCs, major deals).
Translate Japanese customer requirements into clear documentation for global teams.
Collaborate with Product Management to identify technical gaps and influence roadmap.
Deliver stop-gap technical solutions and prototypes without relying on core R&D.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Solution Engineers skilled in coding and troubleshooting.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required
Native-level Japanese and fluent English for cross-cultural collaboration.
Strong technical background in software engineering, enterprise architecture, and integration.
Programming proficiency (Python, Java or similar).
Experience in pre-sales technical validation and customer success.
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
10+ years in solution engineering or enterprise software implementation.
5+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
SaaS/cloud experience; certifications (AWS, PMP) a plus.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
