A global technology organization is looking for a
CIO Office & Resource Manager
to support strategic IT operations and business management activities across Japan and international teams. This role sits within the
CIO Office
and partners closely with senior stakeholders to drive reporting, resource management, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Role Overview
You will provide comprehensive IT business management support to the CIO office, covering resource and portfolio management, reporting to senior management, operational process support, and coordination of transformation initiatives. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, stakeholder management capability, and the ability to work across global and local teams in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT resource and capacity planning
- Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to senior stakeholders (Japan & Global)
- Support portfolio budgeting and transformation initiatives
- Maintain stability dashboards and performance trackers
- Coordinate continuous improvement activities across IT
- Review SOW executive summaries in English for global approvals
- Support contract, purchase, and PO approvals (SAP / Ariba / Fieldglass)
- Support PCaaS (PC-as-a-Service) deployment coordination
- Manage cross-department requests with short turnaround requirements
- Assist with governance meetings and executive communication materials
Requirements
- Experience in
PMO support, project/program reporting, or resource management - Basic knowledge of
finance, accounting, and contract management - Strong task coordination & stakeholder communication capabilities
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize multi-track operations
- Business-level
English & Japanese
(written & verbal) - Experience working in global environments preferred
