Description

The Alliance Business Department plays a crucial role in expanding Rakuten Payment's market-leading payment services and loyalty point business by collaborating with alliance companies.

We aim to achieve this mission by planning contracts, negotiating terms and conditions, acquiring new merchants, and implementing campaigns with our alliance partners.

Our team is responsible for the planning and execution of strategies to expand our merchant network through alliances with other companies.

Negotiations with new alliance companies are also a key part of our job.

We conduct analytical work centered on member stores to better understand their needs and preferences.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of corporate sales experience
  • Effective communication skills to discuss and execute measures with others
  • Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • A minimum TOEIC score of 800 or motivation to achieve an equally high score within two years

Nice to have:

  • Experience in services related to payment and cashless transactions
  • A positive attitude towards working in various environments
  • Negotiation skills to plan and propose deals involving allied companies
  • Experience in data aggregation and analysis related to sales figures
