Job Title: Infrastructure Specialist

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will be project-based subject matter expert in all things infrastructure, analyzing problems and tech issues, offering solutions, and testing, modifying, automating, and integrating systems.
This role involves two main aspects: contributing to current projects and long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution. You will work closely with Architects, Technicians, and PMs to deliver deep involvement throughout the lifespan of a project.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze problems and tech issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate systems
- Contribute to current projects and participate in long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution
- Work closely with Architects, Technicians, and PMs to deliver deep involvement throughout the lifespan of a project
- Develop and implement engineering solutions and work across teams
Requirements:
- Deep expertise within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- Enterprise IT application experience
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
- Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across teams
- Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
- Strong process improvement experience
Preferred Requirements:
- In depth knowledge of Amazon cloud hosting architecture with experience with AWS and Azure is a bonus
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities
- Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
