The RoleFinance Strategy Manager
This position plays a key role in shaping financial insights, supporting strategic decision‑making, and enabling business growth in Japan.
You will work closely with the local and regional leadership teams to drive deep financial analysis, improve forecasting accuracy, and support new business initiatives.
The role is highly analytical, data-driven, and well‑suited for someone who enjoys working with both finance and business teams.Key Responsibilities
Conduct monthly financial results reviews and deliver insights through deep‑dive analysis
Structure, clean, and prepare business data for financial modeling and reporting
Learn and utilize tools such as SQL and Python for advanced data analysis (on‑the‑job upskilling supported)
Support business forecasting, scenario planning, and pricing for new business initiatives
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams (Product, Operations, Commercial, Customer Experience)
Improve reporting accuracy, processes, and KPI tracking frameworks
Contribute to medium‑ and long‑term financial strategy development
Your Skills
Fluent Japanese with business-level English
Finance, FP&A, Business Strategy, or Consulting experience
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Experience working with business performance data, financial models, and KPIs
Interest or basic capability in SQL/Python, with willingness to learn
Experience in tech, e‑commerce, B2C services, or consumer electronics sectors is a plus
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams
Self‑starter comfortable in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment
