Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a member of their QA Engineering Department, you will ensure the quality of the apps, websites, APIs, and backend platform through a mix of automated and manual testing.
Test Strategy & Design:
Create comprehensive test plans to verify new app and web features before release.Defect Management:
Track application issues and collaborate directly with developers and stakeholders to ensure bugs are understood and resolved.Automation:
Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using Python and libraries like Pytest BDD.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Participate in internal planning meetings to prioritize activities and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD process.Continuous Improvement:
Constantly learn new testing techniques and suggest improvements to our quality standards.
Skills & Requirements
Experience:
At least 3 years in software testing as a QA Engineer or SDET.Technical Skills:
Proficient in
Python
and experienced in building automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Appium, or similar).Testing Knowledge:
Strong understanding of testing strategies, test design best practices, and non-functional testing (e.g., performance testing).Communication:
Business-level English (reading/writing). Japanese language skills are a plus but not mandatory.Eligibility:
Must currently reside in Japan with valid working rights.
