Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all tax-related matters for the Japan business.
Provide strategic advice on corporate income tax and international tax implications for new projects and business initiatives.
Conduct technical analysis and resolve complex tax issues with sound judgment.
Partner cross-functionally with finance, legal, accounting, and business teams on tax planning and compliance.
Drive process improvements and efficiency in tax governance and risk management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
10+ years of experience in tax, finance, or related analytical roles.
Proven expertise in corporate taxation—either in-house, public accounting, or law firm environments.
Strong command of both Japanese and English.
Deep understanding of accounting concepts, tax laws, and international tax frameworks.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
