Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site
Information Technology System Engineer
position based in Japan.
We are hiring multiple engineers to work in infrastructure-focused roles, including server, network, cloud, operations, and security domains. Responsibilities will vary depending on your technical background, experience, and assigned project, with a strong focus on system stability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your role and experience, responsibilities may include:
- Designing, building, operating, and maintaining server, network, and cloud infrastructure (on-premises and/or cloud)
- Monitoring systems, responding to incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures
- Managing OS, middleware, and system configurations to improve performance, availability, and reliability
- Supporting infrastructure security operations, including access control, log monitoring, and vulnerability handling
- Collaborating with development and cross-functional teams to ensure stable and scalable system operations
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and contributing to operational improvements and automation.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in system or infrastructure engineering (servers, networks, cloud, operations, or security)
- Knowledge of system monitoring, incident response, and operational best practices
- Basic understanding of security, high availability, and performance optimization
- Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 level or higher (mandatory)
- Ability to work on-site in Japan
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication ability
