Blackstone Private Wealth was established to answer the growing demand for Blackstone products from high-net worth investors. Partnering with many of the world's largest private banks and wealth management firms as well as family offices, Blackstone's Private Wealth team packages and delivers the full breadth of Blackstone's alternative product capability to these firms and their clients and provides ongoing product and advisor support, as well as education and training around alternatives.
Job Description:
Blackstone's Private Wealth Campus program is a unique experience among financial firms, enabling Summer Analyst to gain exposure to all aspects of the asset management business. The summer analyst role is focused on supporting several areas of PWS in capacities ranging from marketing and sales to product strategy and business development.
The role will be working closely with PWS members globally and will have interface with various internal stakeholders including investment teams, legal/compliance department, and other groups within the firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to gain experience at one of the world class Alternative Investment firms, would like to participate in one of the fastest growing businesses at Blackstone. In addition to gaining substantial product knowledge and supporting the growth of PWS in the region, the role will also develop familiarity across other important aspects including marketing, strategic planning, legal documentations, product operations and more.

Client Coverage
Contribute to make Japanese retail investors access to best-in-class alternative solutions.
Get involved in supporting a full cycle of fundraising efforts which include production of product related marketing collaterals, quality control of translation of product/macro related deliverables, new product development, client service for major Japanese financial institutions.
Obtaining competitive landscapes across strategy types and product structures
Collaborating across teams to gain an in-depth understanding of PWS business and wide range of alternative strategies.
Investor Services
The Investor Services team has three roles and responsibilities of (i) project management and operational solution generation for new product and investor onboarding, (ii) daily client servicing, and (iii) service provider oversight for best-in-class investor services interacting with external/internal stakeholders.
The candidate will support all of above works closely working with Investor services team members across the globe. Also, the candidate may have interaction with PWS team and other business partners including external parties, and grasp the fund lifecycle.
Product Strategy
The Product Strategy team primarily focuses on two key areas: 1) designing new product structures that are mindful of appropriate regulatory frameworks for providing Blackstone's flagship products with Japanese private wealth clients, 2) conducting research and analysis of Blackstone's diverse investment strategies and the global competitive landscape to enhance team knowledge and identify potential business opportunities.
The candidate will support day-to-day product strategy works, including market research and material preparation collaborating closely with across PWS team.
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. Our PWS Japan business is newly created business unit in Japan therefore entrepreneurship is preferred.
To be considered for the 2026 Summer Analyst Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Currently enrolled as a fulltime undergraduate / Master (Non-MBA) at the university. If you are pursuing a master's degree, you should have no more than 1 year of fulltime working experience.
Anticipated graduation date
Non-Japan universities: September June 2027.
For Japan universities: December 2026 – March 2028
Fluent or bilingual in Japanese and English (both written and spoken)
Prior internship experience within the financial services industry is preferred (asset management, wealth management or alternatives experience preferred)
