Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for operational excellence? Join our team as an Operations Associate at Bokksu's Tokyo office In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations. As a key member of our operations team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and meet our company's objectives

[ Your Responsibilities ]
- Inventory Management - Maintaining optimal stock levels, conducting regular audits, and preventing stockouts to ensure efficient inventory control.
- Outbound Shipping Documentation - Preparing export shipping documents and packing instructions to facilitate efficient and smooth deliveries.
- Compliance and Import/Export Procedures - Assisting with translations and understanding HTS codes, managing FDA-related tasks, and conducting importability checks for regulatory compliance.
- Fire Disaster Prevention Management - Coordinating and implementing safety measures for disaster prevention to ensure the safety and preparedness of the organization.
- Document Handling and US Requests - Managing document and information requests from the US and providing accurate and timely responses.
- Negotiations and Transportation Optimization - Conducting negotiations to optimize transportation costs, obtaining freight rates from carriers, and securing the best options for shipments.
- Special Packaging Procurement - Managing the purchasing and negotiation process for special packaging items.
- Financial Records and Supplier Collaboration - Receiving and recording accounts payable invoices accurately, handling the purchasing of nutritional stickers, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure product compliance.

- Proficiency in using various tools, including G-Suite, Slack, and Shopify.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and data management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy in document handling, inventory management, and compliance-related tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English and Japanese, to effectively handle document requests, negotiations, and liaise with customs brokers.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, import/export procedures, and HTS codes to ensure adherence to relevant compliance standards.
- Skill in conducting negotiations with suppliers and carriers to optimize transportation costs and establish strong partnerships within the industry.
[ Your Qualifications ]
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Preferred previous experience as an Operations Associate or in a similar role.
- Previous experience in operations, procurement, or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of inventory management, shipping processes, and supplier negotiations.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
- Proficiency in Japanese and English is required.
