About the Role | 職務概要
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and manage the Japan Project Management Team, focusing on the design, engineering, and construction of data center projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role, reporting to the Head of Development and Delivery in Japan, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Supervise and guide the Project Management Team, balancing workload and fostering skill development.
プロジェクト管理チームの業務を監督し、業務負荷の調整やスキル向上を促進します。
Develop and implement strategies for successful project delivery across all stages.
プロジェクトの全工程における成功に向けた戦略を策定・実行します。
Monitor schedules, budgets, and KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
スケジュール、予算、KPIを監視し、正確かつ迅速な報告を行います。
Apply a commercial approach to procurement and cost management.
調達やコスト管理において商業的視点を適用します。
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and suppliers.
顧客、施工業者、サプライヤーなどのステークホルダーとの良好な関係を維持します。
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and manage on-site quality.
安全衛生基準の遵守を確保し、現場の品質を管理します。
Skills & Experience | 必要なスキル・経験
Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related discipline and 10-15 years of experience in Japan's data center or mission-critical industry.
工学または建設関連分野の学士号、ならびに日本国内のデータセンターまたはミッションクリティカル業界での10〜15年の経験。
While direct experience in data center projects is preferred, experience in infrastructure, large-scale power plants, or building construction is also welcomed.
データセンタープロジェクトでの直接的な経験が望ましいですが、インフラ、大規模発電所、建築工事での経験も歓迎します。Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering complex projects.

Strong skills in scheduling, cost forecasting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
スケジューリング、コスト予測、リスク管理、ステークホルダー対応に優れたスキル。
Excellent communication in Japanese and English, both written and verbal.

Ability to travel within Japan and internationally at short notice.
