Tokyo Amazon Web Services Japan GK Full time

This position is available in various AWS corporate offices in Japan, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and ASEAN.


AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) focus on boosting revenue, adoption, and growth from small to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a skilled partner and alliance leader to join the APJ Partner Management team for leading partner business development initiatives in Security and Resilience.

As a Senior Partner Development Specialist (PDS), you'll play a vital role in accelerating the adoption of AWS services through partners, with a specific focus on Security and Resilience.

Responsibilities involve creating C-level relationships, coordinating joint go-to-market plans, and fostering innovation with AWS service teams.

An ideal candidate should have a background in alliance management, sales, or business development and a strategic mindset to tackle business challenges effectively. Proficiency in cloud services is highly desirable.



Key job responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the APJ partner business strategy for Security and Resilience
  • Identify, develop, and launch security and/or resilience solutions with partners of all types
  • Increase partner sales revenue through regular pipeline reviews and business discussions
  • Collaborate with partners' sales teams and end customers to boost revenue opportunities for AWS
  • Advocate partner value propositions internally at AWS and externally with customers
  • Lead complex contract negotiations involving legal, marketing, and business aspects
  • Drive partner pipeline and customer victories through targeted sales strategies and campaigns
  • Support Partner strategy and execute go-to-market initiatives for differentiation and success
  • Collaborate on strategic deals with the AWS sales and partner teams
  • Deliver business reviews to AWS and partner senior leaders, including metrics and goal achievements
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
