The Amazon Ads Partner Marketing team drives adoption of our ad products through partners.

We see partners as a go-to-market and product adoption channel and we work backwards from their needs when we develop our marketing programs and content.

The Partner Product Marketing team leads the product messaging strategy and execution for partners helping them understand how our offering can help solve out mutual customers' challenges.

We bring the partner and customer perspective to everything we do, sharing success stories, diving deep into product roadmaps and developing compelling content to engage and enable our partners.

We are looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy for Japan, ensuring the creation of best-in-class, cross channel experiences.

This person will work backwards from the needs of different partner segments to develop and execute the strategy to grow the adoption of Amazon Ads products among partners, and connect partners with new advertisers.

We are looking for someone with digital advertising experience and the ability to create compelling messaging for an audience of advanced Ads partners.

This person will be comfortable working closely with a range of stakeholders and has strong communication skills, both verbal and written.


This role requires an analytical marketer with an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for customers who is comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities


  • Conceptualize, plan, execute and analyze multi-channel partner marketing demand strategies to drive product adoption for priority products
  • Develop a strong understanding of partner behavior, lifecycle, business models and product usage, and undertake initiatives to accelerate partner and product adoption and ongoing engagement with the product
  • Develop a strong understanding of Amazon Ads suite of product/s, use cases and value proposition
  • Build and execute detailed product marketing plans including campaign goals, messaging, segmentation strategy and distribution channels
  • Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage the partner audience
  • Provide insights to drive an informed marketing strategy based on key metrics, historical data and trend reporting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of professional noninternship marketing experience
  • 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling crossfunctional marketing programs
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large crossfunctional teams and agency partners
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
