Job Title: Regional Coordinator, Tour Director Regional Office
Location: Kyoto, Japan
This role is full-time and requires working on-site in our Kyoto Regional office.

EF Go Ahead Tours is a leading international education company offering global travel and study abroad programs, language-learning opportunities, cultural exchange experiences, and academic programs.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Regional Coordinator in the Tour Director Department.
The Role:
As a Regional Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our freelance Tour Directors across Japan, ensuring seamless tour operations, and providing exceptional customer service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- First point of contact with Tour Directors (TDs) when calling or visiting the office.
- Assisting TDs pre-tour with materials, documentation, and communication relating to their tours.
- Liaising with Operations staff in Tokyo, Zurich, and Boston.
- Supporting the TD Department team with daily issues that may arise due to delays and unforeseen events on tour.
- Recruitment, training, and preparation for tour of new TDs.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Native Japanese speaker.
- Permission to work in Japan without restriction.
- Confident and friendly attitude – customer-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong initiative with proven problem-solving skills.
Estimated Salary: ¥6,500,000 - ¥8,500,000 per year.
