Project Overview
We are modernizing legacy data center infrastructure in Japan for a global financial leader using Arista and Cisco technologies. This high-impact transformation requires a dedicated team of onsite engineers to manage architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting.
1. Lead Network Engineer (1 Position)
Monthly Salary:
JPY 750,000 ~ JPY 975,000
Minimum Experience:
7+ Years
Core Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Certification:
Mandatory
CCIE
(Active & Hands-on) in Routing & Switching, Enterprise Infrastructure, or Security. - Technical Expertise:
Expert-level experience with
Cisco IOS
and
Cisco NX-OS
platforms. - Network Design:
Proven experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Layer 2/Layer 3 network architectures in enterprise environments. - Leadership:
Ability to operate autonomously in complex technical environments and interface effectively with global teams across regions. - Communication:
Excellent ability to articulate technical concepts and strategy to both leadership and technical peers.
Role 2: Supporting Network Engineer (2 Openings)
Monthly Salary:
JPY 450,000 - JPY 575,000
Minimum Experience:
3+ Years
Core Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Certification:
CCNP Certified
is required (CCIE preferred). - Technical Skills:
Strong familiarity with
Cisco and Arista
platforms and basic firewall knowledge. - Implementation:
Hands-on engineering and troubleshooting skills within large-scale enterprise networks. - Support:
Ability to support L2/L3 deployments and maintain detailed technical documentation.
Shared Technical Requirements (Both Roles)
The following technical skills are essential for the team to successfully execute the transformation project:
- Arista EOS:
Working knowledge is preferred, particularly for data center or enterprise deployments. - Load Balancing:
Solid understanding of
Citrix NetScaler (ADC)
, including HA, traffic steering, SSL offloading, health checks, and policy configuration. - Security & Firewalls:
Proficiency with
Palo Alto Firewalls
, specifically: - Security policy creation and optimization.
- Panorama management and GlobalProtect.
- Threat prevention tuning and log interpretation for troubleshooting.
