【業務内容】
20%:Implement category merchandising strategy to Japan market:
Set and execute category strategy based on long range plan. Identify future opportunity through the understanding of brand /market/customer/distribution channel.
20%:Create seasonal assortment plan
Work closely with global PLM, UGG brand and with the merchandising manager to plan and select for seasonal product story and mix for Deckers Japan.
Understand market and customers shopping habits and requirements and implement plan to satisfy their needs.
30%:Achieve Financial Goals. Net sales, gross margin, SKU productivity.
Ensure all products are well enough merchandised to maximize the financial goals in terms of quantity, timing and assortment. Enhance SKU productivity to improve inventory turn over.
15%:In season monitoring: seasonal sell-thru , market trend analysis/ reports
Monitor sales performance on the respective category and take proactive actions to take the category to an advantage position.
Learn market and consumer trends/ key sell thru info and input to global teams.
15%:People management
Manage MD specialist

【Education/Certifications】
- Bachelors Degree
【Work Experience】
- 5+ years of merchandising experience in fashion industry, ideally experienced in footwear with knowledge of brands.
【Skills/Competencies】
- Strategic planning experience in terms of merchandising, buying and liquidation both for
short-term and mid-term(3-5yrs) to enhance the brand equity and in line with Global Brand concept.
- Demonstrable success of retail/sales operations coordination and experienced inventory control.
- High regard and attention for detail, accuracy and displays analytical and numeracy skills
- Excellent planning, organizing and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills, and a talent for building relationships with internal and external partners.
- Current insight and knowledge of product trends, store displays and aware of consumer buying behavior.
- Knowledge of costing, product safety requirements, packaging, QA and compliance.
- Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and to continually improve operations efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written business communication in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Able to expertly work with IT systems such as Oracle
- Travels within Japan and to the global headquarter in the US.
