Position Title:
Application Engineer
Role Overview
As an Application Engineer, you will support the development of driveshafts and constant velocity joints (CVJ) from design to prototyping. Under the guidance of the Application Engineering Manager, you will act as the technical interface with customers, ensuring successful project execution throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Technical Coordination
- Lead all technical activities with customers.
- Support marketing activities and product strategies.
- Estimate development workload and assist in budget planning.
- Coordinate internal specialist support across development stages.
- Build strong relationships with customer development teams.
- Application Engineering
- Manage engineering tasks from estimation to mass production.
- Clarify and define customer specifications.
- Technical Documentation
- Manage and propose product specifications.
- Conduct evaluations and approve results across development stages.
- Plan and approve development schedules and mass production transitions.
- Global Technical Liaison
- Act as a technical front-end for overseas projects.
- Promote customer culture internally.
- Support bilingual communication and documentation.
- Coordinate responses to critical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (University, Graduate School, or Technical College)
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical development in the automotive industry
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English ( JLPT : N1-N2 level)
- Experience in bilingual communication with customers or global teams
- Interest or experience in drivetrain, engine, or transmission parts
- Valid Japanese driver's license
- Motivation to work in a global environment

- 自動車業界での機械系製品開発経験(3年以上)

- 駆動系・エンジン・トランスミッション部品の設計経験または興味のある方
- 日本における普通自動車免許
