We are looking for a bilingual (Japanese–English) DELMIA Developer with strong expertise in CAA, EKL scripting, and 3DEXPERIENCE Web APIs. The developer will contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and support of DELMIA applications across manufacturing, robotics, human simulation, and process engineering domains.

Key Responsibilities:

DELMIA Application Development

• Design and develop enhancements for DELMIA applications (PPR, Robotics, Human, Assembly, Process Planning).
• Build custom functions and automation scripts using CAA, EKL, Web APIs, and related 3DEXPERIENCE technologies.
• Implement logic for BOP, BOE, MBOM, and production process simulations.
• Develop and maintain integration components for DELMIA and external systems.

Customization & Automation

• Build custom commands, UI extensions, logic controllers, and simulation utilities.
• Develop automation tools and utilities to streamline manufacturing engineering workflows.
• Support migration of tools and customizations across V5 → V6 → 3DEXPERIENCE.

Requirements, Design & Delivery

• Work with Japanese-speaking users to capture and clarify requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, design documents, and test scenarios.
• Prepare high-level and low-level design documents as part of structured development cycles.

Integration & Deployment

• Integrate DELMIA solutions with ENOVIA, ERP systems, robotics systems, and shop-floor applications.
• Support environment setup, deployment, patching, and validation activities.
• Participate in version upgrades, regression testing, and compatibility adjustments.

Issue Resolution & Production Support

• Analyze and resolve issues across DELMIA apps, simulations, and integrations.
• Provide Hypercare and post‑go‑live stabilization support.
• Document resolutions, perform root‑cause analysis, and enhance long‑term maintainability.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands‑on experience with CAA (V5/V6) and C++ development.
• Strong expertise in EKL scripting for automation, validations, and logic development.
• Proficiency with 3DEXPERIENCE Web Services / REST APIs.
• Solid knowledge of DELMIA domains: PPR, Robotics, Process Planning, Human, and MBOM/BOE/BOP structures.
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux scripting, batch scripts, and general debugging tools.
• Business-level Japanese for requirement discussions, design reviews, user training, and clarifications.
• Fluent English for collaboration with offshore/global teams.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work in fast-moving engineering environments.
• Ability to manage expectations, provide status updates, and lead technical conversations confidently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with automotive OEMs or production engineering divisions.
• Understanding of virtual factory concepts, robotics simulations, and digital manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with development cycles such as J‑Flow (J0–J5) or similar structured SDLC.
