Role Overview
RateGain Adara is seeking dynamic and results-oriented Partner-Sales for its Japan team.
Reporting to the Sr.

Director of Sales Japan, You will be responsible for driving new client leads, nurturing & growing relationships with existing clients, and owning & managing a portfolio of accounts.

You will leverage your deep knowledge of the AdTech industry and the programmatic advertising landscape, along with bringing a strong network of senior-level client and agency contacts, (travel & hospitality preferred), to achieve and exceed sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in AdTech and data, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals and growing strategic enterprise partnerships.


The ideal candidate will also be a strategic, creative thinker, with good English language skills, who is self-motivated and goal oriented.

She/he must be passionate about delivering successful campaigns for advertisers using data and media and also have exceptional skills in using insights and analytics in a consultative approach to build ADARA's business with advertisers and agency partners in Japan.


The candidate should also be motivated to work independently, demonstrate high levels of pro-activity, be comfortable to work in International start up environment and to collaborate with colleagues in other regions around the world.


Responsibilities:

New Business Development:
Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with brands and agencies. Travel Focus including tourism boards

Client Relationship Management:
Own and grow a portfolio of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term success.

Strategic Partnerships:
Cultivate strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers in client organizations and media agencies.

Sales Execution:
Lead all stages of the sales process, from lead generation and pitching to contract negotiation and closing.

Programmatic/Social Ad Expertise:
Utilize your in-depth knowledge of the programmatic advertising landscape to create tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Revenue Growth:
Drive revenue by upselling and cross-selling within your book of business.

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, and Customer Success) to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and ensure client success.


Travel:
Regular travel to client meetings, industry events, and conferences, as required, to maintain and build relationships.

Education & Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

6+ years of experience in AdTech or programmatic and/or social media sales with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Knowledge
Strong portfolio of senior-level client and agency relationships, travel vertical
Solid background in strategic B2B sales, particularly in programmatic environments.
Passion for the AdTech industry and staying ahead of the latest trends and innovations.

Skills
Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, including DSPs, SSPs, Social and data-driven advertising solutions.
Experience working with major media agencies or large brands.
Solid understanding of 1st Party Data and Data monetization.
Ability to develop, pitch, and close high-value business deals.
Ability to develop and grow strategic partnerships, expanding account revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
Familiarity with analytics, measurement, and campaign optimization tools.
Japanese native with business level English communication skills
