We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing / MRO Engineer with aero-engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) experience to support repair, assembly, and inspection process planning activities.
The role requires close collaboration with customers and project teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery in alignment with aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support aero-engine MRO activities, including repair and assembly process planning
- Apply MRO process knowledge across the 4Ms: Man, Machine, Material, and Method
- Review and support MRO inspection processes to ensure compliance with defined requirements
- Interpret and work with engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Contribute to supply chain–related activities, including coordination and planning (added advantage)
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory requirements
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with customers and internal project teams to meet delivery schedules and project objectives
- Adapt quickly to changing customer business needs and project requirements
- Proven experience in aero-engine MRO operations
- Strong knowledge of repair and assembly process planning
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Awareness and understanding of aerospace quality requirements and standards
- Experience reviewing manufacturing or MRO inspection activities
- Agile mindset with the ability to respond effectively to evolving customer requirements
- Japanese language proficiency is essential; English language skills are preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 5–6 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably within aerospace or MRO environments
- Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes with shop floor experience
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated leadership capability
