Description

To realize the mission mentioned above, the Municipal Sales Group will be responsible for expanding the number of municipalities implementing Rakuten Pay initiatives and increasing transaction volume in the western Japan area, focusing on Kansai, Chugoku, and Kinki regions. By promoting "rebate initiatives" led by municipalities, there is potential to spread cashless payments, improve the efficiency of municipal operations, enhance administrative services, utilize data, and revitalize the regional economy.

You will mainly propose and consult on "Rakuten Pay (App payment)," "Rakuten Edy (E-money)," and "Rakuten Pay Terminal (multi-payment terminal)" to local governments.

  • Solution sales from proposal to contract to implementation of the above services
  • Consulting on the promotion of the above services' operation and result analysis
  • Planning, proposing, and executing initiatives to acquire large-scale projects or multiple projects at once
  • Required Qualifications

  • Corporate sales experience (3 years or more)
  • Communication skills to involve others in planning and executing initiatives
  • Basic PC skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • TOEIC score of 800 or higher, or motivation to achieve an equivalent score within 2 years
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in services related to payments and cashless
  • Experience in new business development sales
  • Experience in management or leadership roles
  • Any sales experience to municipalities

    The Osaka Sales Group is working daily as a team to expand Rakuten Pay's merchant network for small and medium-sized enterprises in the western Japan area (Kinki, Chugoku, Shikoku) by brainstorming and executing acquisition initiatives. By directly presenting the convenience and attractiveness of the service, we aim to expand the merchant network while also reflecting the feedback from merchants into the service to meet their needs.
