Our department plans, develops, and implements data and AI product solutions for Rakuten Commerce & Marketing Company. Through our technology and expertise, we empower businesses to utilize data and AI.
Position:
Key Responsibilities
As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities for products and services that leverage data and AI, and lead the vision and strategy, development, and operations. We expect you to work with multiple stakeholders to lead product development toward our goals.We are looking for someone who can innovate through the development of data platforms, data service platforms that facilitate the use of data, and create solutions that leverage AI.

Responsibilities
- Formulate vision and strategy for products and services utilizing data
- Communicate with stakeholders(user departments, data science team, engineering team)
- Analyze and identify issues and needs
- Develop a roadmap for the project
- Manage overall project schedule, progress, tasks, and issues
- Coordination and consensus building with multiple stakeholders
- Appropriate reporting to decision makers
Mandatory Qualifications:
About 5 years of experience as a product managerExperience in managing products and services related to data and AI
Leadership, initiative, and similar experience
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
Negotiation skills to build consensus with stakeholders
Japanese language skills (Native level reading, writing, and speaking)
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in process improvement and business improvementKnowledge, utilization, and implementation experience of DMBOK
Experience in managing an organization of 10 or more people
