Role Description
Due to an increase in project demands, we are seeking a
Telecommunications Engineer
to oversee the design, construction, and management of communication facilities and supervisory control systems for overseas power projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering & Design:
Lead basic/detailed design and create technical specifications for tender documents. - Project Management:
Support bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and review design documents. - On-site Supervision:
Conduct construction management, witness testing, and authorize payments at international sites. - Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with local power utility engineers to provide operational advice and ensure project delivery. - Technical Focus:
Telecommunication equipment for power facilities and Monitoring & Control Systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in Consulting and Telecommunications to address client-specific challenges effectively.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Certifications: Holder of at least one of the following: CCNA, CCNP, or Telecommunications Chief Engineer (電気通信主任技術者).
- Languages: Intermediate English proficiency (Target: TOEIC 600+).
- Sales skills to support and drive business development initiatives.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
[Preferred]
- Experience in network design within a telecommunications carrier.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally frequently.
