Business Overview

We provide over 70 various services such as online shopping mall "Rakuten Ichiba"online travel service "Rakuten Travel", online banking service "Rakuten Bank" and others including sports businesses.

Department Overview
You will entrust the accounting work of Rakuten Group subsidiaries and businesses. The assignment will be Rakuten Group Co., Ltd. Finance and Accounting Strategy Department Accounting Section.

Finance and Accounting Strategy Department Accounting Section consists of four groups - Corporate Accounting Group, Business Accounting Group, Fixed Assets Management Group and Tax Group - and is responsible for the overall financial accounting area.

Position Details
We expect you to contribute to the business through appropriate tax declarations, tax and tax effect calculation related work, etc. This position enables us to apply multifaceted knowledge and experience to various issues, and to the reward of building and supporting new businesses from the initial stage.

  • Tax and tax effect calculation business in fiscal year results and quarterly results

Mid-career hires from major tax accountant corporations or from the accounting department of business companies

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Tax practice experience for more than 3 years
  • Knowledge of general accounting and tax affairs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experienced Accounting Firm
  • Experience using the accounting system SAP
  • Experience or understanding of the Japanese Group total system
  • Experience or understanding of financial results in the IFRS standard
