Associate Director, Vaccine Marketing

Join our dynamic Vaccine Marketing Unit, where we collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to tackle critical public health challenges in Japan. Our goal is to ambitiously embark on the new cohort with flexible mindset and grounded approaches beyond traditional marketing approaches. We seek individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for our mission. Previous pharmaceutical experience is not required; ideal for strategic professionals transitioning to future commercial leadership roles.

Assignment 1. Vaccine Marketing

Role Overview: As the Marketing Lead for a specific vaccine cohort, you will be responsible for devising and leading strategies and initiatives with entrepreneurial mindset. This role involves understanding user and potential partner needs through analysis, developing strategic commercial plans, and executing them by leading the team. Additionally, you will collaborate with relevant departments to implement promotional activities, aiming to increase market revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze market conditions for the vaccine cohort(s), devising strategic plans. Plan and execute promotional activities for the Product, launching effective campaigns. Monitor the effectiveness of the initiatives and adjust or improvements as needed. Facilitate collaboration with relevant departments, ensuring information sharing on the strategies. Lead the team members towards achieving goals, providing direction, and evaluating outcomes.

Assignment 2. Vaccine Project Management

Role Overview: You will oversee cross-functional projects related to the Product, ensuring their successful execution and new ideation. This role involves planning, executing, monitoring, and evaluating projects while fostering seamless communication between departments. You will be responsible for task allocation, prioritization, and devising action plans to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule projects related to the Product, managing resource allocation. Monitor project progress, identify issues, and provide timely resolutions. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure information sharing. Identify and manage risks, implementing change management when necessary. Regularly evaluate project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in project management; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) or professional firm (e.g., consulting company)
  • Excellent communication involving senior management and cross-functional team-building skills
  • Strong analysis capabilities, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills.
  • Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability
  • Fluent in English proficiency required to drive discussion within Japan complex market background
  • Knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry or pharmaceutical market is preferred but not mandatory

Note: Ideal candidates should have consulting experience, demonstrating exceptional logical thinking skills. Additionally, they should possess strong communication and coordination abilities to effectively manage multiple departments.
