Job summary

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate to join our Marketing team in Investment Management Japan (IMJ). This role is located in Tokyo, Japan and is a hybrid working role.

The Japan Marketing team provides all aspects of marketing communications activities to IMJ including retail business, institutional business and branding. The position will work with the locally-based sales teams as well as the regional marketing teams to help build brand awareness and grow the Japan business. As a Senior Associate within the IMJ Marketing team, you will support Head of Japan Marketing manage execution of marketing strategies, generate content to promote investment capacities, and build brand presence in Japan. This role also provides an opportunity to leverage digital and analytics to improve effectiveness of the marketing strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Head of Japan Marketing manage execution of marketing strategies to build strong brand presence, promote investment capabilities, and drive business growth.
  • Lead in marketing materials production, including but not limited to sales brochures, ad-hoc fund reports, market/fund presentations for both educational and fund sales purposes.
  • Effectively manage and execute marketing campaigns across above-the-line/below-the-line platforms, as well as online/offline media.
  • Curate and promote our intellectual capitals including thought leadership, investment capabilities and product solutions.
  • Develop innovative content to upgrade and drive traffic to the IMJ website.
  • Manage digital marketing including website optimization, online advertising, search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Plan and organize proprietary and sponsorship events and webinars/webcasts for clients/prospects/investors to showcase our investment capabilities.

    • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum years of work experience in asset management and a proven track record in fund product marketing.
  • Good understanding of the investment, mutual funds, and the asset management industry.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation skills in Japanese.
  • Proficient in Bloomberg, Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in English ( TOEC over )
  • Ability to think strategically while strong in execution and dealing with details.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong cross-functional relationships as well as manage key stakeholders.
  • High level of self-motivation with strong will to develop your own career.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and shift priorities based on unexpected business demands.
  • High level of independence, energy, integrity, responsibility, and accountability.
