Job Description
Lead and take ownership of Design Verification (DV) activities for automotive-focused microcontrollers and SoC components.
Relocate to Japan for an initial 6-month to 1-year onsite training period to learn Customer-specific workflows, processes, and automotive standards.
Conduct code review, simulation, and debugging to verify design functionality and performance.Collaborate with design teams to review specifications, identify corner cases, and ensure comprehensive verification coverage.
Support integration, synthesis, and verification phases, ensuring smooth design handoff.
Document design flow and technical details for both onsite and offshore collaboration.
Mentor junior engineers and lead technical training.
Collaborate with Japanese teams and Customer
Contribute to establishing and managing an ODC team to support long-term collaboration with Japan.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
7+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC design and verification, with a strong, demonstrable focus on verification for complex projects.
Have knowledge about AMBA protocol:
AHB, APB, AXI.
Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog; experience with simulation and synthesis tools, and formal verification, SVA is plus.
Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals, clocking, reset, and timing constraints.
English communication is required; Japanese ability is an advantage.
Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.
Willingness to relocate to Japan for 6-12 months for training, before returning to Vietnam to lead and build the offshore ODC team.
