Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute
    the overall sales strategy for the Japan region, holding full responsibility for business growth and profitability to meet and exceed company performance targets.
  • Lead the exploration and strategic layout
    of new business areas in the Japanese market, deepen long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners, and accurately identify local market needs and industry trends.
  • Oversee commercial negotiations, contract review, and execution monitoring
    for major projects, ensuring all business activities comply with Japanese laws, regulations, and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret
    market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry policies to provide senior management with forward-looking strategic insights and decision-making support.
  • Coordinate and leverage
    internal cross-functional resources (technical, product, and after-sales teams) to build a highly efficient and collaborative customer service and support system, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Plan and optimize
    the channel partner ecosystem, integrating and managing strategic channel resources to drive high-quality market expansion and improve network effectiveness.
  • Build, develop, and motivate
    the Japan sales team, fostering a high-performance culture characterized by initiative, collaboration, and shared success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in
    Control Science, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration
    , or a related field; a
    Master's degree or MBA
    is preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience
    in industrial automation or a related industry, including
    5+ years in a sales management role
    leading a team in Japan. Proven experience in greenfield market development or successful business transformation is highly advantageous.
  • Deep expertise
    in industrial automation products, technologies, and solutions, with a strong understanding of Japan's operational models, industry ecosystem, and business culture.
  • Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and executive relationship management skills
    , with the ability to navigate complex, cross-cultural business environments effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities
    , with a proven ability to inspire team potential and drive sustained growth and performance breakthroughs.
  • Proficiency in Japanese
    as a working language, with strong communication and business writing skills.
    Candidates of Chinese origin residing in Japan
    are preferred.
    English proficiency
    is an advantage.
