About the team
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more.
As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
The Group Hakuhodo Head will be responsible as a Unit Leader working closely with the Strategic Agency Division Head in selling TikTok advertising solutions to major advertising agencies, develops and executes sales strategies to increase sales.
- Responsible for all internal and external stakeholder management, longterm account plan development, product education and adoption
- Build and grow relationships with business leaders in agencies who are identified as key decision makers to build and carry out strategies and optimize their advertising expenditures
- Identify, prioritise and secure revenue opportunities through consultative and strategic engagement with agencies deep understanding of agencies' business objectives to deliver media solutions that tie to their business objectives and KPIs
- Create compelling sales propositions utilising consumer trends, market knowledge and datadriven insights
- Develop and implement best practices for agency servicing including relationship management, product suite education and enablement, business reviews, reporting and analysis
- Work closely with Division Head, existing members in Strategic Agency and core cross functional teams to constantly analyse performance, drive test and learn strategies and brainstorm and develop scalable advertising solutions to deliver measurable results
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership, innovation and performance solutions
Minimum Qualifications
- Background in sales and advertising.
- Experience in clients facing roles with knowledge of digital marketing or digital enabled transformations
- Min 3 years of proven team and people management experience
- Leadership skills data driven approach with an ability to work across high level strategy and handson execution.
- Ability to navigate clients, agencies, tech partners, and leverage existing relationships as well as building/fostering new relationships in a matrix organization
- Proven track record of leading complex digital marketing or transformation projects involving crossfunctional stakeholders and delivering measurable business outcomes
- Business level proficiency in Japanese and English across writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing highlevel client relationships and influencing Clevel decision makers in both Japanese and international business contexts
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fastpaced, dynamic environments with a strong bias for action and continuous improvement
- Experience working in a global organization or collaborating closely with international team
