Job Title: Event and Communications Coordinator at Rakuten Group

Job Description:

  • Organize the weekly all-hands meeting, Rakuten Group Asakai, including agenda creation, English material preparation, video editing, and on-site coordination.
  • Plan and execute the monthly reward system.
  • Coordinate one of the largest internal events at the end of the year.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in Japan and overseas.
  • Engage in negotiations and arrangements with external vendors.
  • Record meeting minutes in English.

Working Environment:

  • Department: Asakai Operation Group, Communication Section, General Affairs and Communication Department
  • Team Size: 3 members (Excluding manager)

Key Requirements:

  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese.
  • Ability to organize meetings in English.
  • Proficiency in creating meeting minutes in English.
  • TOEIC score above 800 or equivalent English language skills.
  • Experience in business-level English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a corporate environment.
