Position Overview
As the digital asset industry continues to evolve, financial regulations are becoming increasingly complex. The company is seeking a
Compliance Director/Manager
to lead its compliance division, strengthen governance systems, and ensure adherence to domestic and international financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and interpret financial laws and regulations; develop internal response policies
- Advise business units and group companies on compliance matters
- Review marketing and advertising materials for regulatory compliance
- Monitor the segregation and management of client assets
- Oversee customer protection systems, including handling and analyzing complaints
- Establish and maintain internal policies, manuals, and compliance frameworks
- Plan and deliver company-wide compliance training programs
- Manage communications with regulatory authorities and industry associations (e.g., Financial Services Agency, Finance Bureau)
- Report incidents, prepare business improvement reports, and manage responses to regulators
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with relevant authorities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a
cryptocurrency exchange, securities firm, or bank - Minimum 5 years of experience in
compliance and/or AML/CFT-related roles - Proven
management or team leadership
experience - Native-level Japanese proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling financial authority inspections (e.g., FSA)
- Track record of process or policy improvement in an emerging compliance environment
- Experience managing multiple projects cross-functionally
- Relevant certifications (CAMS, CFT, CIA, CISA)
- Practical compliance experience at a
Type I Financial Instruments Business Operator - Business-level English

Employment Conditions
- Flextime system (core hours: 10:00–16:00)
