Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Country Director. The Country Director will lead strategic initiatives, forge relationships with various stakeholders, and represent CICC in the designated country. Daily responsibilities include managing country-level operations, driving investment and trade goals, identifying business development opportunities, and collaborating with public and private institutions. Additionally, the Country Director will oversee tailored events, coordinate trade missions, and support the creation of innovative strategies to achieve organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between the CICC global platform and local markets.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in leadership, strategic planning, and operational management.
- Experience in international trade, investment promotion, and economic development.
- Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong networking capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with governments and private sector organizations.
- Understanding of business development and the ability to identify growth opportunities in various sectors.
- Experience in organizing events, trade missions, and international conferences.
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in dynamic, cross-cultural environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
