About the Role
Our client is seeking a
Cloud/DevOps Engineer
to join a team building and managing a large-scale enterprise data platform. This role involves designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring high availability and performance across mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain applications and systems on
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
. - Manage infrastructure using
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
tools. - Implement and optimize
CI/CD pipelines
for seamless delivery. - Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best practices in DevOps.

Required Skills
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in software/system/DevOps engineering.
- 3+ years in:
- DevOps principles and CI/CD.
- Scripting (Python/Bash).
- Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Configuration management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet).
- Cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
- IaC tools (Terraform).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with on-call incident management.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Python/Bash automation.
- RDBMS/SQL experience.
- Networking in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with data engineering principles.
