Required skills:
We're looking for a seasoned engineer with a proven track record in the following areas:
Software Development
- 4+ years of professional application development experience, primarily with Python.
Distributed Systems & Data
- 2+ years of experience designing and operating distributed systems for large-volume, near real-time data.
Systems Internals & Linux
- 4+ years of experience with a deep understanding of operating system internals, preferably in a Linux environment.
Infrastructure & Cloud Security
- 2+ years of infrastructure-level systems management across bare-metal and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Demonstrated experience with cloud security principles, including IAM, network security, data encryption, and compliance (GCP preferred).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- 2+ years of proficiency with configuration management and IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and/or Chef.
Observability & Reliability
- 3+ years of experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Strong understanding of defining and tracking SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
Database Management
- Hands-on experience in setting up, testing, and monitoring distributed relational databases.
CI/CD Expertise
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
- Proficiency in maintaining build processes for Java, , and Scala applications.
- Understanding of integrating security gates into pipelines.
Containerization
- 3+ years of experience maintaining and operating containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of container security principles.
AI Engineering
- Experience using AI-based tools to optimize alerting, workloads, and cost, as well as to reduce toil, analyze logs, and automate tests.
Communication & Documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to produce clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.
