We are on the lookout for a Project Coordinator / PMO person to support project delivery with our client in Tokyo. This role is all about coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with PMO standards, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
What you will be doing in the job:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and meeting minutes.
- Support project governance by ensuring adherence to PMO frameworks and processes.
- Coordinate communication between project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Track project budgets and resource allocation.
- Prepare presentations and reports for management review.
- Identify risks and issues, escalate as needed, and support mitigation strategies.
Who we are looking for:
- Experience:
- 2+ years in project coordination, PMO, or similar roles.
- Experience in IT or consulting projects is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese (business level).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Certifications:
PMP or similar is an advantage.
